Upcoming Century Rides
Six Gap
Believe it or not, the weather will soon start to cool (yes, I’m delusional) and it’ll be time for the fall century rides. Just so you don’t forget, we’ve put them on the calendar and are listing them here.
13 September – Endless Summer Watermelon Ride – This year it’s in St. Augustine so even I don’t have an excuse.
27 September – Six Gap – Dahlonega, Georgia. For those of us who like climbing.
25 October – Horse Farm Hundred – A great ride. After our local century, probably the favorite of DBBCers.
25 October – Intracoastal Century – Reported to be another great ride but unfortunately on the same day as the HFH.
15 November – Horrible Hundred – In the hills of central Florida. I’m gonna miss it…out of town…Woohoo!
And remember that many of the events have shorter rides just in case you have a life and don’t have the time to do a century.
OK, so do you have a life or are you doing the century @ every ride ?
We plan to do the 68 @ the ESW, Century @ 6G, Century @ HFH
& the 68 @ HH, Sounds like a good end to the year. Maybe next
year the club could track everyone’s miles on the site. And award
Prizes for ride levels. We will leave that to M to figure out… : ]
