Daytona Beach Bicycle Club

Here we are on the Blueridge Parkway (BP). Lots of up and down – never enough down for John. Just a quick ride with RonJohn, Gruesome Twosome, of 22 miles then an evening ride with a small group of local riders. They had a “Killer Hill”, which really wasn’t, and some downhills they were pedalling furiously while Big John was coasting, passing everybody. A good day in the hills before we start the Skyline Drive Ride. An annual event, completed 12 times by John and Ron is on his 3rd. Ron is the “ringer” for climbs. He is taking pictures as everyone else is still in the saddle. More on that on a different post. We will ride in Waynesboro, VA for a couple more days then travel to Front Royal, VA for the start of the Skyline Ride, 112 miles with about 14,000 ft of climbing.
