  5. Looking to ride regularly on Tuesday AM’s with others in a paceline, “B” group speed – 40 miles or so, start 7:30 this time of year – I live near Palm Harbor and the Bridge in Palm Coast -

    • TUE is our Hastings ride, LV PC at 0705 (best place to meet is corner of Palm Harbor and Colorado) out Palm Harbor to Old Kings then US 1 to CR 204, at Flagler Estates enter FE Blvd then continue to Cracker Swamp Road to Hastings Blvd, to CR 204 for last mile to Hastings. Return trip is CR 204 all the way to US 1 back to Old Kings and return home. 17-18 mph, some paceline (usually 3-5 people) stop at Hastings Cafe for coffee/food then home by 1030. We try to keep the speed low and work on rpm. standups, or what ever you wish to do. Rotate the lead every mile or two so all get a chance into the wind.

  6. Is this the same ride that meets on canal street? Cannot locate ride start, can you list cross street? I’m from out of town and want to hook up with you guys.

    • Go 2 rides then overview this will list all rides in the area.

      • Hi,

I live in Halifax Plantation and would like to check out a group ride with y’all. Ride the loop solo all the time and road with a few people from time to time although the old group has seemed to have splintered. I can start anywhere, Halifax, Granada…Any ideas? Thank you. Jeremiah

  14. START TIMES FOR ALL DBBC RIDES NOW AT REGULAR TIMES

    Posted: 05 Nov 2010 10:12 AM PDT

All DBBC rides are now starting at regular times (times listed in the RIDES section). Should be light enough for normal start times to resume. This will also allow for about an hour of solar radiation to begin the more rapid movement of molecules (heating) to occur.
PC Riders will not start at temps below 45f. at regular time. Below 45f. at regular time will result in a delayed start with arrival at Halifax Plantation at 1000. The ride will then continue to Panera Bread in Ormond, as per last year as the temps dwindled into the Arctic arena. If there are any questions or problems, just grin and bear it, then cover up and hibernate – it will get warmer, soon. Ask any questions with the REPLY box at the end of this box. Warm riding.

    Questions see John…

      CU Ron

  16. Who’s up for the TnTT ?

  18. There is a good group ride on Saturday morning out of the Publix in Port Orange, right by I-95 and Dunlawton. I did it this past week and there must have been 40+ riders. About 30 miles, moderate pace(20-22) for the first half then it picks up(25-28), but the group will break up at that point.
