Does anyone know if there has been riders showing up to the Saturday YMCA ride?
If you find out, let me know – I’ll adjust the rides/calendar accordingly.
You should do the Saturday St. Augustine ride. They call it an A+ ride. About 42 miles.
The route – Out 312 to 207 to 13 along the river and back 214… sprint at the top of 95.
The Start – Turn left [west] off of Rt. 1 , onto Rt. 312 [Red lobster on the NW corner]
Go west to the second light, Triangle Court. They meet near the old Hooters.
7:30am start. With the hot weather they may change it to 7:00 soon. I will post changes.

There will be a group of people riding from the Town Center in Palm Coast at 6:45PM Tuesday. Should be enough time to do the TNTT and then do the ride. We usually ride around 25 miles, through Town Center and over to the beachside. We meet towards the back of the parking lot, by the bank.
I left out Publix, that is where we start.
Tom,
What way do they head out of the town center?
Can we meet them on the way out if were late from the TnTT?
Good post by the way.
Let’s see more!
They head east through Town Center and usually exit onto SR100 via Bulldog Dr. I have found the best place to meet up with them is on the top of the Flagler Beach bridge. Then everyone can decide on going north or south, usually dictated by the wind. All riders of all levels are welcome.
TnTT – This Tue. May 25th first out 6:00pm you must check in 15 min. early.
Same place John Anderson 1000′ south of Rt-100.

Halifax and High Bridge ride times change this Sunday, the 18th of April, back to the usual time (ie, 8:15 at Halifax or High Bridge).
I just want to confirm that the Highbridge ride still starts at 8:15 on Sunday?
Yes it does start at 8:15 am every Sunday…
But Tomorrow is the A1A ride.
Read info here…

Have fun and ride safe.

Is there a date scheduled to start the rides at 7:20 again? It is a lot easier to get to work on time if I can start earlier.
Anyone doing the Ormond YMCA ride, or the St. Augustine ride on 312 this Saturday?
Ride times will revert to “normal” in APR, I think the 18th or so (third SUN) when it gets light enough to start the rides at a better, lighter time – and warmer we hope!
Sunday – April 18th looks good.
I Hope the weather keeps up with the time.

Thanks, R
Looking to put together a 100 mile ride this Sunday, anyone up for it.
Just a good pace, we are Tandeming, and Yes we stop for food.
Let us know, we can work on the route according to how the wind is.
Yes WIND………………..
Pass this on if you know anyone else.
Chery & Ron
W I N D ? ? ? When is this ever a problem? 100 mi is good, and you said, Not a Race. Let me think about that, one bike a ride, two or more…RACE is ON! Looks like 4 or so bikes to tavel in caravan with Tandemonium leading the way. Let everybody else pull up J Anderson and Colbert then we break off and ride on into oblivion or to Palatka (whever is first).
See you at 7:30 Sunday………………………..R
So… We had put together a few bikes for the 100 mile ride Sunday but only two actually did the ride.
[we did the regular Sunday ride then rode to Palatka]
John and Cheryl & Ron on the tandem. 445 Dave scratched himself at 7:am Sunday, a no go.
2 more riders decided a shorter version was in order, 60 or so.
Lets all remember that the A1A ride is just around the corner.
All went well, wind and all, 18 mph average and yes Palatka is still just over the river.
Later, R
Rich cheated during the FRI ride! Anybody else see him do it? Anybody out there?
FRI 26 MAR seems to be a wet one early. It may be prudent to start @ 10:00 if anyone wishes. Ride North to St AUG (Cafe 11) or South to Ormond area (Panera). Let me know what is good!
C&R will not ride Fri… Sorry.
BUT We would like to ride 100 miles on Sunday.

Thursday 6:15 Ride…
Just a Reminder to let everyone know the Thursday Evening “The Bike Shop” Ride will be starting up again March 18th at 6:15 Pm, If you haven’t done this ride in the past there are 3 groups that all leave at the same and warm up together for a few miles, then we will split up with 1 group riding at a max speed of 20MPH and the 2nd group will stay at a max of 23MPH and the 3rd group is unlimited, we go around the Ormond Loop. The direction is determined by the direction of the wind, so tomorrow looks like we will stay mainland and have a tailwind coming down John Anderson. After-wards your more than welcome to stick around for the post ride conversation and some cold beverages @ The Bike Shop.

It seems that item 5 and 2a are contradictory.
Maybe if some used it.
Rich and Ron are going to St. Aug. to ride the Reg Sat. ride.
It starts from Hooters off of 312 west, [near the overpass]
8:00am in the parking lot.
Cheryl will leave PC and take A1A and meet us.
Anyone in…?
All the DBBC rides will start one half Hour later – Starting this Sunday.
[ FYI - Sunrise on Sunday = 7:36am ]
We will leave High Bridge close to 8:40 – 8:45am
The same goes for Halifax Plantation rides 8:40 – 8:45am
Note: Hours shift because of DST so…
Set your clocks ahead one hour this Saturday night .
The start time of the New Smyrna Beach rides move back to 7:30 AM starting Sunday, March 14.
Great, thanks for the info and thanks for your participation in our new link.
Who is riding in the morning? Wed 10th
And what time are we starting?
Tomorrow’s not the 7th?
We’re riding at 7:00 on the 10th…or is it 10:00 on the 7th? Unless it’s foggy then we’re riding today.
I feel like I’m talking to myself.
You are talking to yourself… Bye
I am
I will ride on WED 10 MAR at reg time. NOT the advanced to DST as noted on the website and annoted in an email. That said – when is TNTT and why is Tom not responding to this – oh, yeah, I know. It is still too dark for a TNTT and will need to wait for another two weeks or so – but I guess we still need to sort out why anybody wants to ride, when anyone would care to ride and how in the heck can anybody follow the lineage of all the comments? Should one go to the comment one wishes to comment on or about? Should one just make a comment? Are “threads” a viable option? should we use a repair kit on tubes suntil a tube has 4 or more patches then toss it? Whty does Rich talk so much? Why does George have so much neck pain – or that pain in the neck? Are we really going to ride in the morning?
Affirmative on the morning ride. 7 AM. The other questions? You’ll have to answer yourself. Oh and about the household communication. It’s nunya.
March 16th is Tuesday. What year are you looking at ? : ))
oops. must have been consulting the hinter-land calendar. so will TnTT begin Mar 16? any word from Timer Tom?
Seems like we’ve started TnTT when DST goes into effect. If we follow that rule, the first one would be Tues, Mar 13. Yikes!
When you reply to someone click the reply icon in their message – that way it’ll nest the reply and make it easier to read.
Birds make nests and that is why the little ones fly away. Too many extra feathers clog the airway. Is this the way to the TNTT? Are we riding tomorrow? What time?
Yikes – dreaded Hinter Land calendar! Should have located it before the Mayan one fell out of use. Maybe it fell or rolled away when the snow hit (global warming is the root of all coolness) and by the way – are we riding tomorrow? What time?
When will the TNTT restart? I’m thinking of getting back in shape to ride it. Maybe others will, too.
Have to ask Timer Tom.
What kind of shpe do you have in mind? Round is a shape and that is what I am going for. TNTT is over rated. Should be a TANTTFTSH (Tues After Noon Time Trial For The Severly Handicapped) that way I could have a chance.
Good idea!
What is this a reply to? Did you use the icon reply tab in the comment section of the reply you wished to reply to? Are you and Anne not talking or is the house too big to ask where each of you are at any time inrealtion to the theory of where is the ride tomorrow?
